tequila
beer
lime juice
shot glass, can
  1. Buy very good tequila, (I advise against "Tio Murray's" or similar brands).
  2. Find a local bodega and purchase one six-pack of Coors Light. Refrigerate until 15 minutes prior to opening, then move to the freezer compartment to ensure ice cold condition.
  3. Pour a shot of tequila, two drops of lime juice, and ice into a cocktail shaker, shake 30 seconds until extremely chilled, pour into a large shot glass and drink quickly, (pour it down your throat).
  4. Follow immediately with the ice cold Coors Light.
  5. Repeat until desired state of euphoria is attained.*
*note: Please do not operate any heavy machinery, drive or engage in any serious conversation while enjoying this cocktail.

Café de Sooda Mix
If you crave sugar and fat and need the boost of caffeine, then by golly this is the drink for you!!

manhattan special coffee soda
coffee or vanilla ice cream
vodka
kahlúa coffee liqueur
ice cream soda glass
This is not a drink for the tread-milling, spandex-wearing, trail mix eating health-nut crowd. When made correctly, it is a velvety thick and pleasantly tasty drink concoction that demands respect.

  1. Pour a large amount of Manhattan Special Coffee Soda (there is no substitute) into a blender.
  2. Add a couple scoops or more of either coffee or vanilla premium quality ice cream (depending on how much of a speed buzz you are striving for and what hue of brown you prefer).
  3. Add many ounces of your favorite vodka (or whatever brand you happen to have).
  4. Add many ounces of Kahlúa.
  5. Throw in some ice for chill. And blend away (remember to put on the lid first).

pic of drink17th Street Sangria
A Brooklyn interpretation of a Mexican classic. It's got a kick on it like a burro!

2 macoun apples, cored & sliced
1 comice pear, cored & sliced
2 valencia oranges, seedless, sliced into half-rounds
1 organic lime, sliced into half-rounds
9 cups dry, fruity red table wine
1 1/4 cups gold tequila
1 cup orange juice
1 cup pineapple juice
old-fashioned glasses

Prepare early in the morning: add all to a 12 quart pot and chill (the sangria) 'til the evening. Taste-test throughout the day. This is not truly necessary but hey buddy, that¹s how it's done north of the border. You got a problem with that? When guests arrive, pour some sangria into a pitcher and serve over ice in old-fashioned glasses along with a few fruit slices. ¡Olé! Serves two twelve times or twelve two times
