The 2000s: Sourmash History
After over fifteen years of inactivity, Sourmash Records (now renamed SourmashUSA) was relaunched in early 2001 with the release of the double CD set Introduction to War from Certain General. This release contained one disc of previously unreleased live material and another of unreleased studio recordings that would have been the group's followup LP to their 1985 classic November's Heat. Concurrently a new SourmashUSA website with online store was created.
Three more CD releases from Phil Gammage, Claudia, and Darryl Rose followed in the next two years. Another CD (a 'best of' compilation) from The Corvairs was mastered and in preparation for release when the label's founder and owner Stephen Graziano passed away unexpectedly.
Below is a complete discography of all the CDs released by SourmashUSA Records in the 2000s. All of these titles are currently administrated by PreFab International Records and most are still available for purchase via iTunes, CDBaby, or the PreFab store.
